Effect of Blasting During Tunnel Excavation on an Existing Adjacent Tunnel

چکیده
In recent decades, the effects of blast loads on existing structures have gained considerable attention due to increase in threat from various activities. Site-specific empirical relationships for calculation blast-induced vibration parameters like Peak Particle Velocity (PPV), Acceleration (PPA), and Displacement (PPD) are commonly used estimation impact blasting an adjacent tunnel. However, these not able consider variation rock uncertainty situ conditions such as modern mass classifications (i.e., RMR, Q-system, RQD)... this paper, a published data researchers different sites at Croix-Rousse tunnel France been collected propose generalized regression model PPV by considering Rock Mass Rating (RMR) system, damping ratio “”, Dynamic Young’s modulus “Ed”. By using numerical analysis method, proposed (Empirical Formula) function variable multivariate can be directly prediction vibrations rocks.

Assessment of Tunnel Excavation on Surface Settlement
The expansion of underground structures is important in urban areas with high population density. In most large cities in the world, urban development is spreading along the structures. These structures are generally located at shallow depth; therefore study of shallow tunnels in urban areas is critical for development. During the excavation of tunnels in urban areas, creating the asymmetric se...
متن کاملFinite Element Method Analysis of Influence on Subway Tunnel Adjacent to Excavation by Excavation Construction
The interaction influence on subway tunnels adjacent to foundation excavation was produced by excavation construction, and it is great significance for the correct assessment of its size and influence on the safety of subway operation. Based on the foundation excavation project, some typical foundation excavation profiles are selected, the calculation and analysis on additional settlement and h...
متن کاملAssessment of Soil cohesion of Soils on Tunnel Excavation
Excess pore pressure under seismic loadings has always been a main concern in geotechnical engineering practices. Undergoing the phenomenon in a soil can cause the effective stress and hence the shear strength of the soil to decrease considerably and large deformations happen in the area. Generally, increasing the pore pressure occurs under the undrained condition. If it can be formed the drain...

Three-dimensional model is established with finite difference method to simulate construction process based on design and construction plans of existing overpass pile foundation adjacent to certain large-section railway tunnel in Chengdu, China. Ground, isolation pile, main bridge pier and ramp pile near the tunnel are taken as research object, and surface settlement amount, displacement change...
متن کاملDynamic Bayesian Network for Probabilistic Modeling of Tunnel Excavation Processes
A Dynamic Bayesian Network (DBN) model for probabilistic assessment of tunnel construction performance is introduced. It facilitates the quantification of uncertainties in the construction process and of the risk from extraordinary events that cause severe delays and damages. Stochastic dependencies resulting from the influence of human factors and other external factors are addressed in the mo...
